On September 26, 2009, a programme of tennis coaching was established for kids between the ages of 6 and 12 years attending preparatory and primary schools in the May Pen region. The program was initiated by Tennis Jamaica through the appointment of Certified Tennis Professional Thomas Plummer to the May Pen region.

Mr. Plummer has been coaching seven (7) preparatory schools and one (1) primary schools since October 3, 2009 with a total of fifty one (51) students in attendance.

Each school is visited once per week and all the schools combined, visits the St. Thomas More Preparatory School on Saturdays. Tennis Jamaica assisted each school with racquets and balls and each student in the programme is asked to contribute Three Thousand Dollars ($3000) for a full term of coaching twice per week.

Your child can be a part of this programme so you may call 357-0798 for registration. Your support would be deeply appreciated as we strive to develop tennis playing and competition in the May Pen region.
