• In keeping with its stated objective of facilitating and supporting the development of professionally ranked players to represent Jamaica internationally, Tennis Jamaica is establishing a Player Development Programme.
  
• This takes the form of a performance based fund which assists players emerging from the junior and college levels, to make the transition to the professional ranks.
  
• The fund also supports players already on the professional tour, to improve their rankings.
  
• Assistance to applicants is subject to the availability of sponsorship.
